Phat Thai is not your average Thai restaurant. In fact, if you read their website they fully admit this fact: This isn’t a traditional Thai restaurant. We are not Thai. We’re not even Asian. Not even close. Hell, we’ve only visited Thailand!
We first heard about Phat Thai while dining at their sister restaurant in Glenwood Springs, Colorado–The Pullman. We really enjoy eating at Phat Thai because the food is spicy and flavorful. Our latest dining experience at Phat Thai was during Happy Hour. To be honest, we would have been better off ordering full size portions. We ordered a lot of wonderful treats off of the Happy Hour menu and each bite left me wanting more! The ambiance at Phat Thai is warm and inviting. We usually sit at the bar. I like the Phat Thai space. Floor to ceiling windows which means lots of natural light. If you are in the Cherry Creek North neighborhood stop by Phat Thai for a bite. Let me know what you think.
They are located at 2900 E. 2nd Ave., Denver, Colorado 80206, 303-388-PHAT.
For now, enjoy the glorious spicy, flavorful, mouth-watering food pictures.
Oysters on the half. Sorry, my husband ate them before I could take the picture. The empty shells are a sure sign they were delicious.
Fried Rice with Shrimp. This dish was actually off of the regular menu not the Happy Hour menu.
This dish was my favorite! Singapore Style Crab Claws with black pepper sauce. I could have eaten a dozen.
Epiphany Chicken Sliders. The only description on the menu is spicy! FYI spicy doesn’t quite sum it up but they are so good! Have water close by.
Spicy Duck Taco. My husband ordered the taco and said it was delicious. I am not that adventurous.
Happy eating! Bon Appetit!
