Colorado Rockies Baseball Game

Coors Field

Coors Field

Coors Field is beautiful.  Even if you aren’t a baseball fan it is worth a trip to the field to see a game.  We usually buy cheap tickets and walk the field the whole 9 innings.  The good thing about Coors Field is you don’t have to stay seated the whole game.  You can walk around and enjoy the scenery.  We usually eat dinner at the Blue Moon Brewery at the Sandlot (http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety/2010/04/the_blue_moon_brewers_keep_bus.php) and then walk around the rest of the game.

I have been on a tour of Coors Field and that was worth the time and money.  http://colorado.rockies.mlb.com/col/ballpark/tours/index.jsp

In this picture we are above the ring of purple seats. So does this mean we are above 5,280 feet?

A neat side note: A row of purple seats ring the park to mark a spot that is exactly 5,280 feet above sea level.
