If you don’t have a bike–no problem! The Denver B-cycle program can help you out. These bike stations are located in quite a few places throughout the city. We have two stations within walking distance in our neighborhood. I think the Denver B-cycle program is great! I see people on these bikes all over. They ride around Washington Park, downtown, along the Cherry Creek bike path pretty much anywhere. The story of how Denver B-cycle got started is pretty interesting. This is just a snippet of the Denver B-cycle story (http://denver.bcycle.com/About/OurStory.aspx):
It started in the summer of 2007 in Denver. No, scratch that. It started well in advance of that summer, with the Denver bike community’s decades of patient, persistent efforts to make Denver a more bike-friendly city. These efforts prepared Denver to take advantage of a historic opportunity presented by the city’s hosting of the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
