Snooze an A.M. Eatery in Denver, Colorado

http://www.snoozeeatery.com/

We have been to Snooze a dozen times and I am just getting around to blogging about this great A.M. Eatery here in Denver.  We go to the Snooze on Colorado Blvd. because it is the closest one to our house.  We almost always order breakfast.  I like Snooze because everyone who works at Snooze is wonderful plus the food is really good too.  The name alone, (Snooze an A.M. Eatery) is what first attracted me to the restaurant.  When we first moved here we passed the Eatery and I thought I love the name Snooze plus I also loved the way the decor looked (very modern diner meets the 2000’s).  If you haven’t been to Snooze you must!  The waiting list for a table can be long but they do allow you to put your name on the waiting list and go run an errand or two.  On our most recent visit to Snooze I remembered to take pictures of our delicious food.

Mocha–isn’t it lovely!  The mocha looked so pretty I almost didn’t want to drink it:)

Complimentary Pancake of the Day.  I heard the server say something about chocolate chips, coconut, caramel, I think pecans, and chocolate sauce.  I heard chocolate and started digging in–hence the half eaten pancake.  Sorry!  I always forget to take the picture first:)

Corned Beef Hash Snooze’s signature shredded hash mixed with locally made corned beef, caramelized poblanos and onions. Topped with two poached eggs & toast.

Ham Benedict III The classic evolved with our signature English muffin topped with shaved hickory smoked ham, perfectly poached Niman Ranch Cage Free Eggs and smoked cheddar hollandaise.

Corned Beef Hash Snooze’s signature shredded hash mixed with locally made corned beef, caramelized poblanos and onions. Topped with two over hard eggs and sourdough toast.

Huevos Rancheros Flour tortillas layered with black beans, jack cheese, ranchero sauce, three eggs over hard, and salsa fresca.

Snooze is a Colorado based business however they are expanding.  Recently they opened a Snooze in San Diego, CA.

A fun side not about Snooze.  On one of our visits to Snooze I saw Lisa Whelchel from the tv show The Facts of Life.  I just about died!  She was sitting across from us at the breakfast bar with her husband.  I knew it was her immediately.  I really wanted to talk to her but I let her eat her breakfast in peace :).

  1. I love snooze! I’ve only eaten at the one in fort collins though. And ironically enough, when I was in Montana about a month ago, I saw a woman wearing a snooze tshirt! Sure enough, she got it in CO!!

    • I love their t-shirts. That is funny that you saw one all the way up in Montana. She definitely got it in Colorado unless she had been to the San Diego location recently. Their pancakes are heavenly!

What do you think?
